Stowage :

1. Contact Shanghai headquarter about the vessel schedule of HKG and relay the information to all department of HKG.

2. Adjust & discuss with terminals about the vessel containers stowage planning.

3. Solve the operation problem when the vessel berthed at HKG.

4. Verify with terminals about the HKG vessel outbound figures, example discharge and loading figures, POD, Size/Type, etc).

5. Arrange special cargo on board/discharge, such as oversize, yacht, etc.,

a, COSCO-HIT 8 (CHT)- AAS/AAC/AUS1/AUS2

b. HongKong International Terminal (HIT) - AEX1,2,3,6/AAE1,2/AAT/AMAX(WAX)/SEAS

c. Modern Terminal Limited( MTL) – ANW2/AMX2/AAE3

d. China Merchants Container Service (CMCS) – CVH/JSC1/JSC2

e. River Trade Terminal (RTT) Transshipment

7. Terminal operation rate (estimate)

a. CHT – Average 30 containers per hour/gang

b. HIT - Average 26 containers per hour/gang

c. MTL - Average 28 containers per hour/gang

d. CMCS - Average 10 containers per hour/gang (Mid-steam)

e. RTT – Average 22 container per hours/gang

Vessel boarding department job duties:

1. Arrange the vessel berthing windows at HKG port.

2. Vessel equipment supply arrangement.

3. Declare ship's crews in/out HKG for government department.

4. Ship's crew exchange.
