CSCL ranked 5th in carrying capacity
CHINA Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has announced that its 4,253-TEU containership the "CSCL Brisbane" was recently entered into the line's AMAX global service.
Two days later on September 18, the 4,250-TEU "New Haikou" followed suit and was put into service on domestic trading routes.
As a result of these developments, CSCL's position as one of China's leading domestic shipping lines has been strengthened, said a company statement
What's more, it also brings the total number of containerships in CSCL's fleet to 135 vessels, with a total shipping capacity of 326,903TEU, which makes CSCL the fifth largest in terms of capacity in the world, according to the latest survey conducted by BRS -Alphaliner.
