CSCL launches new vessel in Dalian

CHINA Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has recently launched one of its biggest vessels, the CSCL Oceania, in Dalian, according to report from Xinhua.

The report said the 8,500 TEU newbuild has been put on a service that connects China with Europe.

Eight other vessels are being used on the service that calls at Tianjin, Dalian, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Port Klang, Le Harve, Felixstowe, Hamburg and Rotterdam.

CSCL, a unit of the China Shipping Group, now operates 140 vessels with a total capacity of 330,000 TEU, said the report.
