China Shipping boosts capacity on popular domestic service

CHINA Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) has upgraded one of its most popular domestic services by deploying the largest box vessels ever used on a domestic mainland service.

According to a Xinhua News Agency report, CSCL has deployed the 4,250-TEU Xin Fangcheng and the 5,668-TEU Xin Qingdao on its Tianjin-Qingdao-Nansha service.

The increased container capacity on the Tianjin-Qingdao-Nansha service is intended to meet surging customer demand for cargo transport services on the route.

The vessels operating on this trade call at the ports every five days.
