China Shipping to offer new Asia/ Mediterranean service

China Shipping Container Lines Co. plans to offer shippers a new service linking the Far East and the Mediterranean.

Starting mid-June, the fixed-day weekly AMX Service will have a port rotation of Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Port Kelang, Salalah, Piraeus, Naples, Genova, Barcelona and Valencia.

The line said its new service - employing nine 3,467 TEU vessels - will strengthen its business in the Mediterranean region.
