China Shipping to launch extra Far East-Europe service
China Shipping Container Lines has unveiled plans to introduce a second Far East-Europe service on February 28.
The port rotation is: Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Port Kelang - Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, Felixstowe.
The transit time to Rotterdam and Antwerp will be 21 and 23 days respectively.
The company stressed that by the end of this month it will have two express services with different port rotations and schedules each week connecting the Far East with European ports such as Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg and Felixstowe.
Hong Kong to the UK port of Felixstowe will take 20 days under the new arrangement, and it will take an additional two days to reach the port of Hamburg, Germany, the company said.
